Kindergarten - Portraits
Kindergartners learned about portraiture with this project, but added an interesting twist at the end.  First, we partnered up and drew a picture of our partner, paying close attention to things like eye color, shirt patterns and hair styles.  Then, we used our imagination to draw a picture of what our partner might look like if they were something else, like a pirate, or princess, or superhero.  Take a look at some examples.  The kindergartners did a really fantastic job!
