2nd Grade - Rizzi Portraits
The 2nd graders learned about shape, color and style with this portrait project. First, we looked at artwork by the artist James Rizzi and talked about how he uses shapes, colors, and lines to give his paintings a different style. We then drew a Rizzi style face onto a piece of paper using oil pastel and painted it with watercolor. A repeat project from last year, the silly faces and watercolor make this a crowd favorite. Take a look at the fantastic results!
