The third graders came up with some very interesting ideas in this comic strip project. First we talked about the three things that every story has: a beginning, a middle, and an end. In the beginning, the third graders introduced characters and a setting. In the middle, the characters faced some sort of a problem, and in the end the problem is solved. Each part of story had its own box in the comic strip. Take a look at just a few of the creative examples we had. Click on the image to enlarge it so you can read the stories that are a little hard to read when they're small.
