2nd Grade - Rizzi Portraits

Another popular second grade project that has become a staple in Mr. Schmidt's art room:  watercolor portraits inspired by James Rizzi.  Here, we learn what a portrait is, and pay close attention to Rizzi's use of line, color, shape, and pattern to make our own.  The second graders are very good at making their portraits look different from one another's and adding details with pastels and paint.
